Bursa was the Ottoman capital before Istanbul, and it still feels like a different, quieter Türkiye. We cross the Sea of Marmara by fast ferry, which is both quicker and far more pleasant than driving around the bay.
The cable car up Uludağ is one of the longest in the world and takes you from a warm city to a cool mountain in twenty minutes.
